We live in a secular anti-spiritual culture that worships science as the highest good and questions the existence of God as our Creator. Some view religion as a crutch for weak-minded people, but when a tragedy strikes, people who call themselves atheists start praying and crying out for His mercy. They cannot remove God from their minds! The reason is because God is and He continues to reveal Himself to His creation, especially men and women who refuse to listen. There are at least two ways that God appeals to stubborn hearts: He has put eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and He speaks through the natural world (Psalm 19:1). He is everywhere and cannot be ignored! He wants to be acknowledged in our lives and honored as God.
